Call recording
Since 25 July 2022, CARECONNECT – HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS & SERVICE, UNIPESSOAL LDA has followed best practice in data security and protection. Personal data is processed in strict compliance with data protection law, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 134/2009 of 2 June and Decree-Law no. 32/2008 of 17 July, and given that the relationship between consumers and companies is increasingly remote, with customer support provided by telephone, the following rules apply to calls made by the CARECONNECT – HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS & SERVICE, UNIPESSOAL LDA team, within the working hours it defines:
- Calls are answered in the order they are received.
- The professional who takes the call must identify themselves, the entity on whose behalf they are acting and, where applicable, the purpose of the contact.
- Calls to consumers or patients must be made within the company's opening hours.
- Information given to consumers must be clear, objective and in accessible language, aiming to answer all questions directly.
- Only the data needed to identify the date, time, duration and type of communication is recorded.
- Call recordings are kept for at least 90 days, and you may access their content under the applicable law.
- CARECONNECT – HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS & SERVICE, UNIPESSOAL LDA ensures that only specially authorised people have access to this data.
- The data may only be disclosed by reasoned order of an investigating judge, at the request of the Public Prosecutor, or of the competent criminal police authority.
- CARECONNECT – HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS & SERVICE, UNIPESSOAL LDA destroys the data at the end of the retention period.
